Le Bellezze d' Italia
Le Bellezze d' Italia (The Beauties of Italy) Charity Car Show in Phoenix, Arizona.
Any Italian make, model, or condition; concourse and daily drivers are welcome. There will be trophies given for several categories of peoples' choice awards. Limit of 75 cars total for the show and the first 36 registrants for Bocce.
The purpose of the show is to proudly display your car(s), camaraderie among the various Italian car clubs, to raise money for Operation Homefront of Arizona and to have some FUN. Please encourage your club members to participate. Let's make this the best showing of Italian Beauties in the Southwest. Admission is FREE for spectators and the general public.
All net proceeds will benefit Operation Homefront-Arizona. Operation Homefront (OH) provides emergency and morale assistance for our troops, the families they leave behind, and for wounded warriors when they return home.
During the course of the day, we will have live entertainment (see schedule below) plus a bocce tournament for the car owners. This will be a single elimination tournament. If you've never played bocce, better yet!! The Arizona American Italian Club has four beautiful, professional courts and the Bocce club has been generous enough to offer their assistance with the tournament. There will be recognition for the top 3 teams and for the worst team! Bocce teams consist of 4 people, so encourage your club members to attend and participate. Let's make it a fun and spirited competition among the different car clubs. Of course, the Alfa club will dominate!
A barbeque lunch will be available for an additional cost of $8.00 per person. The menu will consist of grilled Italian sausage sandwich, grilled chicken breast, potato salad and ranch style beans. A vegetarian meal will be provided upon request. There is a full bar that also serves non-alcoholic beverages. A big thank you goes to the volunteers from the Arizona American Italian club for their assistance with lunch.
The cost for this event is $25.00 per car and $15.00 for additional cars which qualifies one person per car for the bocce tournament.
